Following 25 years under the guidance of Bill Black,
Iain and a few musical associates agreed to take over
the organisation and running of the annual Stanley Ceilidh.

The ceilidhs
take place every year on the first full weekend in November. In 2007 it will be over the 2nd to the 4th November.
Friday 2nd November sees our usual format of performance by some of the country's finest musicians from the Scottish Dance Band scene.
On Saturday night we are delighted to welcome Ian Muir and his Scottish Dance Band to Stanley, first time visitors to the Ceilidh.

Informal sessions take place during the Saturday
and Sunday afternoons.
The ceilidhs are held in the function suite of
the Tayside Hotel, Stanley where all musicians and
enthusiasts are made very welcome.
All proceeds from the weekend's events are donated
to charities in the Perthshire area.
